Meet Kari
Kari Jensen is a graduate of North Dakota State University and holds her Juris Doctor from the University of Montana School of Law. She is a licensed attorney in North Dakota and Montana.
Raised on a farm in Divide County, North Dakota, Kari brings a strong work ethic and dedication to her practice. Kari’s legal career followed a transition from teaching English in Montana to earning her law degree from the University of Montana in Missoula. She has successfully represented clients in a range of misdemeanor and felony criminal cases, including DUIs, assaults, domestic violence, and drug offenses, as well as civil matters like contract disputes, evictions, and real estate issues and has a proven track record at trial. Kari is skilled in courtroom representation, legal research, and legal writing, as well as handling a broad spectrum of litigation tasks.
Kari Jensen is an Associate Attorney at Chapman Law Firm, P.C., practicing primarily in criminal defense and civil litigation. She is admitted to practice in both North Dakota and Montana state and federal courts. Outside of the office, Kari is active in the community; she was a long-time council member at her church and coached a summer league swim team for many years. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, flower gardening and cooking.
